Bang Bang: Persian Food + Pizza & Margaritas
Begin tonight with drinks at Bijan's. This Persian spot has a gorgeous (and working) fireplace to cozy up next to, and an inventive spread of salads, flatbreads, and entrees. We recommend the Bijan burger, made with half short rib and half ground chuck, and served with a side of addictive herb fries. For cocktails, we like their namesake cocktail, the Bijan, made with vodka, pineapple juice, mint, elderflower, and garnished with a dusting of cayenne.
And, since you’re in the neighborhood, swing on over to Sottocasa for an amazing pizza dinner. Of course, you can always split a good old classic margarita pizza, but if you’re in the mood, try one of the spot’s more creative takes on this Italian favorite, such as the Laura, which mixes tomatoes and mozzarella with mascarpone, speck, and rosemary. And for couples that like sampling beers from around the world, Sottocasa serves an array of Italian micro brews.
