Dine On Fancy French Fare Before Heading To Blind Tiger For A Beer

This date has now expired. Check out fresh, new dates here!

Walking a fine line between traditional and modern, Bistro Pierre Lapin in Greenwich Village serves up truly transportive dishes like Quenelles du Brochet (pike mousse, champagne sauce, and spring herb broth), Sauté au Crabe et aux Crevettes (shrimp and crab sautéed with with spring garlic scampi), and the Famous Poulet Pour Deux (a whole roasted chicken with foie gras stuffing, and potato purée served for two). Between its simple, old-school design, floral accents, and candle-topped tables, this gorgeous bistro setting will bring out the oiseau d'amour in both of you.

Once you step out of France and back into the Village, check out Blind Tiger’s laidback pub that may as well have been pulled straight out of the English Moors (tonight is all about European influence if you haven’t noticed). With exposed wooden beams lining the ceiling, a reclaimed wood bar, and a cozy stone fireplace, this alehouse will win you over immediately. And with a craft beer list that include options like Alewife Death to Ego IPA, Founders Backwoods Bastard Scotch Ale, and Fifth Hammer Tenor Gladness Belgian Strong, your choices are far from slim.
