Barack Obama once chose Blue Hill for a special occasion with first lady Michelle, so you know it’s got all the elegance and low-key beauty necessary for the perfect romantic evening. It boasts a locally-sourced, seasonal menu from its very own farm just 45 minutes upstate (very much worth a day trip), and the dimly-lit room, abound with fresh flowers, crisp white linens, and subtle grey accents, makes for an especially serene setting for that special occasion. Note: They book up quick, so we highly recommend jumping on those reservations early.
Afterward, keep with the vibe while enjoying some bubbly in a 1920s inspired space at Air's Champagne Parlor. Outfitted with large draped curtains, a marble-topped bar, Deco fixtures, and velvet upholstery, this space is all about the ambiance. It also serves some bubbly-friendly bites—raw oysters and hamachi tartare, tuna conserva and charcuterie, and caviar service. Love.
