A Fancy Night Out In Murray Hill With A Library-Themed Bar & Steakhouse

On the top floor of the Library Hotel, you’ll find both a cozy indoor lounge and a lush rooftop terrace (with two greenhouses!) where you can cuddle up with your SO and watch the sunset over the skyscrapers around Grand Central. The rooftop menu plays with the library theme (thank god). We like the 'Tequila Mockingbird', 'Bookmarks’ Hemingway' or 'Dante’s Inferno'. But that doesn't mean you should sleep on the specialty sangria. The vibe in this little brick garden is charming and romantic, and with friendly service to boot, it's the perfect start to any date night.

Keep hotel (and rooftop!) hopping with dinner at Atto, the latest addition to New York's steakhouse brigade at the Tuscany Hotel. Chef Rogelio Limon previously worked at the iconic Peter Luger Steakhouse so he knows a thing or two about meat. The bar is modern and sleek with 40 seats and a lounge area (yes it’s huge!), plus an old-meets-new-New York dining room. Our favorite part is definitely the 17th-floor penthouse complete with a wrap-around terrace and panoramic views of the Empire State and Chrysler Building. Because you should finish the night with the same high you started.
