Amour, Beauté, and Unfettered Joie de Vivre at Boucherie Park
Tonight is all about amour, beauté, and unfettered joie de vivre at Boucherie Park. This elegant French bistro feels as though it was plucked straight out of Paris, and it has the traditional Bentwood cafe chairs, fresh baguettes, and Venetian plastered walls to prove it. And if you’re not completely smitten by the visuals alone, the menu will undoubtedly win your heart (and stomach). The mousse de foie gras (with Hudson Valley foie gras, onion compote, and red wine port sauce), lotte rôtie aux coques (with roasted monkfish, cockles, chorizo, white wine, piquillo peppers, and spring peas), and filet de porc rôti (with roasted ibérico pork tenderloin, maple glaze, dijon mustard, rosemary, and pistachio) are some standouts that deserve your attention.
After dinner, keep with the French aesthetic over drinks at Dear Irving. Taking inspiration from Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris, the vintage motif shifts through four different period-specific design (from the Victorian Era to ‘60s London mod) within all of its four rooms. So, apart from satisfying all of your libatious needs—with notable highlights being their apple-and-almond-infused Old-Fashioned (Second Marriage) and spicy concoction of reposado tequila, mezcal, spiced pineapple, and lime (Xantolo)—the time-shifting atmosphere will keep you indefinitely entertained. And if you’re in the mood for some drinkable dessert to cap the night off, the Sundowner Flip (with aged rum, cold brew, cream, orgeat, egg yolk, mole bitters, and coffee salt) is your new best friend.
