This Non-Profit Art Gallery Promotes Innovative Ideas of the Underrepresented

  • Art

Check out the incredible exhibits currently on display at BronxArtSpace, a "non-profit gallery that promotes the innovative ideas of underrepresented and emerging artists and curators". It's definitely an experience for the kind of couple that appreciates a thought-provoking date. Started in 2008 by Linda Cunningham and Mitsu Hadeishi, BronxArtSpace is dedicated to exhibiting the highest quality artwork from the Bronx and around the world. Hours are Wednesday–Friday 12-6:30 p.m. and Saturday 12–5 p.m.

After exploring the exhibit, we recommend authentic Oaxacan cuisine at La Morada. A family-owned and operated restaurant in the South Bronx, La Morada is probably the most authentic Mexican cuisine you can get in the city, especially because it’s made with love. It's especially cool that they actively participate in social justice causes, and proudly hire undocumented workers.
