This Emmy Award-Winning Chef Has An Austrian Restaurant on the LES
Comfort food is more than fries and cheese at Café Katja—an upscale Austrian restaurant set in a rustic, brick-walled space on the Lower East Side. The menu is inspired by recipes Chef Erwin Schröttner’s mother cooked for him at home and features Austrian dishes like wiener schnitzel, bratwurst, herring and cabbage.
