Have a True North American Night at this Canadian Restaurant Followed by Shuffleboard at a Dazzling Bar
America and Canada collide (just like they do IRL!) at Greenpoint restaurant Chez Ma Tante. It’s moderately priced with entrees going for an average of $20, but it almost has a perfect five stars on Google—which says a lot (New Yorkers are tough). What makes this place so great, we think, is their incredible attention to detail and exemplary service. They’re the kind of place that wouldn’t dare serve you a dish they don’t expect to see licked clean. And if you don’t lick it clean, they’re not satisfied. Order the half chicken with cabbage and aioli or the pork shoulder with salsa verde and lentils.
After dinner, head to The Diamond (which automatically sounds fabulous af). They have a far above-average selection of beer and wine. You can leave it at that, or you can get up and play a little shuffleboard. Friendly competition is good for the soul (and your relationship). Check their calendar for special popup dinners and shuffleboard tournaments.
