Shop Till You Drop Before Dinner & Drinks at the Macabre House of Wax Bar

Every good date includes a little retail therapy now and again, right? There's no better place to do all of your shopping than City Point. They've got the giants like Target and Century21, but they also have some of our favorite smaller stores like Flying Tiger and HiO. If you feel like getting physical, City Point is also home to At Your Beat, a London-based dance fitness studio. Don't forget Dekalb Market Hall is downstairs and Alamo Drafthouse is upstairs too. And if you feel like grocery shopping? Trader Joe's has your back. This place is a mecca for spending your dough.

We recommend heading to the weird and wonderful House of Wax Bar when shopping leaves you both ravenous. The venue showcases world-renowned macabre artifacts, has a daily happy hour (from 4 to 7) and a menu full of refined pub grub. They exhibit a rare selection of waxwork sculptures featuring life-size, realistic displays of anatomy, pathology, anthropology and even death masks of famous (and infamous) celebrities. Warning: some are not for the faint of heart. City Point also regularly hosts cool events (we're obsessed with their weekend markets). Check out what's coming up next here.
