Boogie down in Sunset Park for a retro roller disco party and diner bites. Slip into something from the Seventies for the evening’s Saturday Night Fever theme and head to Lola Star’s Dreamland Roller Rink. Shake your groove thing in 15,000 square feet of roller rink filled with dazzling unicorns, retro rainbows, and disco balls galore. This night is stayin’ alive with an official red carpet, go-go dancers, and an epic dance competition. It’ll be your chance to show off your dance moves proving that disco isn’t dead. Get your tickets in advance here. Skate rentals are not guaranteed, so show up early to snag your pair.
After dancing the night away, there’s nothing like rolling up to a 24/7 dinner still decked out in disco fever and Sunset Park Diner & Donuts is just that place. With a menu filled with—pretty much anything—you can eat breakfast for dinner or go for their more creatively titled items, like the Midnight Appetizer Platter (mozzarella sticks, hot wings, and chicken fingers) and the Munchie Fries (fries topped with ranch dressing, mozzarella cheese, and bacon bits). Just be sure to get an order of their homemade donuts. It’s cash only so hit up that ATM.
