Live The Boat Life At New York City's First Marina In Over 50 Years

Longing to be by the water? Head over to ONE°15 Brooklyn Marina in Brooklyn Heights, New York City's first new marina in over 50 years. Even if you're not setting sail, there's a perfect date to be had at the pier with a riverside view. Start at Estuary, a brasserie serving up lots of seafood in the form of their raw bar, Singaporean laksa soup, tartare, and lobster rolls. For those who don't care for fish, there are also sandwiches and specialty tarts. Above all, the restaurant has epic views of lower Manhattan.

Estuary also offers a selection of desserts, but why not go next door to Ebb & Flow and get something sweet to-go? The little counter, also at the marina, offers pastries and sandwiches for takeaway, which is particularly convenient for those with boats or wanting to eat right by the water. The bakery comes under the direction of François Payard, a James Beard award-winning pastry chef. The highlight of the menu are the cakes, which cost $7 a slice and come in mouth-watering varieties like white chocolate strawberry topped with fruit loops or cheesecake with trail mix topping.
