See Comics Chat About Their "First Times" On Stage at Q.E.D.
Bad news! This plan has expired. Go check out some great new ideas here.
Tonight, you’ll be making your way up to Queens for some traditional Greek cuisine at Gregory's 26 Corner Taverna. The vibe here is super casual, and the food has no Greek equal in this neighborhood. Also, the prices are super reasonable, so you can feel good about overindulging tonight, whether you’re going for something lowkey like dolmadakia or diving all-in with baby shark (yeah, baby shark). If you’re both into the same kinds of food, you should definitely consider going in together on one of their “combo for 2” dishes.
After dinner, you two will go from appetizing lamb chops to awkward laughter at Q.E.D. Angela Cobb is hosting a collection of standup comedians recounting the awkwardness of their “first time.” Q.E.D. is a cafe and performance space that refers to itself as “after-school for grown-ups” where friends, couples, and singletons alike can lose themselves in the inept gracelessness of young love. Tickets are $10, and the show runs from 9-10:30 p.m. Check here for the next "My First Time" show.
