Drink the Same Beer as Abraham Lincoln After a Cultured Night
The International Center of Photography is the world’s leading institution dedicated to photography and visual culture. If either of you love dates that err on the side of intellectually-stimulating rather than straight-up romantic, you'll be sure to enjoy any of the curated exhibits the ICP features regularly. See all upcoming shows, events and more at their website here.
Then we're heading to the oldest bar in New York City—McSorley's Old Ale House—because we're not trying to be fancy after that exhibit. Pay tribute to the history of Old New York at McSorley's Old Ale House, which opened in 1854. This simple bar (which only has two beverages to choose from — light ale or dark ale) has welcomed, as it loves to note, everyone from Abraham Lincoln to John Lennon.
