It feels good to feel fancy, and Le Coq Rico has you covered. Run by Chef Antoine Westermann, this French bistro has a peculiar M.O.—everything from the decor to the menu is centered around birds—but an elegant aesthetic (for example: blocks of white feathers stick out of the walls like 3D portraits). Naturally, this extends to the menu with options like seared duck foie and brune landaise (aka super high-end hens). Just keep in mind that some of the fancier options can run a pretty penny.
Once you’ve had your fix with fancy, head to The PIT for some live comedy. This popular, no-frills comedy club hosts several shows each night. Check out what's on deck any night of the week by peeking at their calendar here. Because fancy French food combined with down and dirty comedy is our kind of date night.
