Say Cheeeeese At This Chill South Slope Bar
Tonight begins with a laidback dinner at Lot 2. This place is all about the warm and low-key neighborhood atmosphere, so you’re going to feel cozy AF the moment you step inside. Offering up a menu with New American cuisine, you’ll love the asparagus with buttermilk biscuits or shrimp & chorizo fried rice, but don’t neglect their unique sides, like duck fat fries and broccoli di ciccio. And definitely be sure to pair your meal with one of their amazing cocktails, like the Faux Swizzle (with dorothy parker gin, gentian liqueur, aperol, and lime).
Next, prepare yourselves for beers, board games and plenty of quirk at American Cheez. This low-key bar plays 80s and 90s music, serves up a mini pizza pie with any drink over 5 dollars and has tons of retro movie posters to spark conversation. The prices are a lovely departure from what you're probably used to, and the bartenders are some of the friendliest we've met.
