Hotel Hop in Nomad With Dinner At The Marilyn and Drinks at 1986 Est.
The Marilyn is a modern New American restaurant tucked inside the Life Hotel in Nomad. Expect an open kitchen, old-New York vibes, house-made pastas and seasonal dishes. Chefs Scott Hawley and Michael Gutowski serve up some serious flavor—accompanied by a carefully curated selection of cocktails and wine.
After dinner, head down the block to 1986 Est., a swanky piano bar inside the Hotel Stanford (tonight is all about hotels, in case you haven’t noticed). Walking a fine line between ritzy and quirky (see: the fancy grand piano next to a stick figure drawing that reads, “You say I’m a bitch like it’s a bad thing”), 1986 Est. is the perfect way to end the evening in style. Just keep in mind that even though their seasonal craft cocktails never disappoint, this bar is especially proud of their martinis and single malt scotch. Reserve a seat next to the fireplace (aka the best seat in the house).
