Bleecker Street’s Famous Murray’s Cheese Now Has a Mac and Cheese Shop—and It’s Truly Divine

It's a casual locale, but still a foodie’s night out at Murray’s Mac and Cheese in Greenwich Village. Because who doesn’t love mac and cheese—especially when it’s creamy, melted, and gratuitous. An extension of the fine Murray’s Cheese shop, this fast-casual restaurant is dedicated solely to the heavenly combination of pasta and cheese. Expect buffalo chicken (New York cheddar, blue cheese, chicken, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing), carbonara (fontina, mozzarella, pancetta, peas), French onion (gruyere, raclette, caramelized onions, and bacon), and more. The best part is you can select from a range of additional toppings—including an entire ball of burrata cheese. (Dead? We know.)

Afterward, if you can manage it, head over to BÀO Tea House to chill out over some freshly brewed tea and treats. This cute little spot serves both sweet and savory bao (a filled bun/bread-like dumpling). The sweet flavors range from the traditional egg to matcha, and pair well with the rose tea and honey black tea. And the (sweet and savory) cherry on top? The presentation of your drinks, which we promise will have your Instagram drooling.
