Make date night anything but a “Bad Romance” at Joanne’s Trattoria with the help of Lady Gaga’s parents (seriously, her parents own this place). The rustic setting gives authenticity top-billing, and the attention to detail is unmistakable. Their pasta dishes alone are reason enough to make this a date night necessity, but if you’d rather skip out on the carbs, Joanne’s meatballs and Papa G’s chicken are menu musts.
Since nothing says “classic” like dinner and a movie, head over to the Lincoln Center Film Society’s Walter Reade Theater for the 2019 New York Jewish Film Festival, now in its 28th season, in partnership with The Jewish Museum. All are spectacular, and all are films from around the world that explore the diversity of the Jewish experience. Pick the one for you and yours at the lineup here.
