Eat Authentic Italian Food Before Sipping Craft Cocktails In Astoria
When you're looking for solid, 'don't spend over $80 on dinner' Italian food, go to Ornella Trattoria in Astoria. The restaurant is owned and operated by a couple (which we obviously stan)—she was born in Torino and her husband was born in Salerno. AKA, all of the best regions of Italy are covered. You won't have a bad meal here.
To close out the night, head to The Last Word, a bar that used to be a speakeasy but is now an upscale cocktail lounge. They've got live music multiple nights a week, and though it's a little bit more on the expensive side, the sexy vibes make it well worth it.
