Tonight, let the light of the Eiffel Tower lead your way. Pardon My French (they also answer to PMF) is a bistro in the East Village walking a fine line between traditional and modern fare, offering up dishes like braised squid and octopus, moulard duck breast, and slow braised oxtail.
Next, head over to Mace, one of 2017’s “World’s 50 Greatest Bars.” Though supplied with a fine collection of beer, wine, and cider, the centerpiece here is their collection of cocktails. With herb and spice foundations, these intriguing cocktails are perfectly complemented by the modern brick-and-steel fusion architecture. Definitely let your gut be your guide, but if you’re having trouble deciding on a drink, you can’t go wrong with their signature cocktail (it’s got aperol, aquavit, beet juice, orange acid, young Thai coconut cordial, and mace mist).
