Start the evening at Pedro’s in Dumbo—a charming underground Mexican spot serving traditional Dominican and Cuban fare. Here, margaritas are the way to go. Pair your marg with fajitas—you won’t have to wait too long til the tequila-induced warm fuzzies hit. If you need to pace yourself on the margs, check out the selection of Mexican beers. Alternately, order the Bulldog, a two-in-one that serves up a margarita with a beer bottle (and it’s contents) as garnish.
End your evening with a moonlit walk along the river. Brooklyn Bridge Park boasts glittering views of the Manhattan skyline, and spanning over 1.3 miles it’ll take you under both the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges, where each of the six piers offers a different panoramic view. Before you head home, make sure to stop by Jane’s Carousel, a restored antique carousel from the 1920s housed in a beautiful glass pavilion.
