Do we have any literature-loving lovers in the house? Cherry Lane Theater in the West Village is putting on a new adaptation of Pride and Prejudice in co-production with The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. Kate Hamill both wrote and stars in this playful new version of Jane Austen’s great tale of latent love. The show runs through January 6th and tickets are $82.
On your way to the show, stop for dinner a few blocks away at Kestè Pizza & Vino. A simple, shoe-box sized pizza spot that serves pies like the Toscana with black cabbage, pecorino, salami, fresh mozzarella and extra virgin olive oil. They have gluten-free and vegan pizzas too — so everyone is welcome.
