Candlelight, Dark Nooks, & Craft Cocktails In Greenpoint

We love it when a cocktail bar really brings it, and Ramona in Greenpoint really Brings. It. You know the owners from their East Village hot spot Elsa, and for their Brooklyn watering hole, the duo enlisted h0me design firm—which also decked out Alameda and Tørst—to bring bespoke features, a Carrara marble bar, and chandeliers to this two-story wonder. The craft cocktails are organized by spirit and made with house-made syrups and infusions; we’re particularly fond of the tequila/mezcal section, and the Golden Fang (made with tequila, cucumber, Sichuan peppercorn, and wildflower honey) is a crowd favorite. Note—you can make a reservation for drinks, which we would recommend, since this place is a neighborhood favorite.

Post drinks, make your way to Brooklyn Label, nestled in the landmark Astral building. A local neighborhood spot that was revived after closing briefly, the previously French bistro now serves classic American comfort food in a friendly, warm atmosphere. Doubling as a cafe in the daytime before transitioning to a cozy and candlelit upscale restaurant, Brooklyn Label is just as perfect for lazy days as it is for date night vibes.
