Inspired by the owner's daughter in thinking about what food would be best for her child's daily diet, Rice and Miso was born. The spot specializes in onigiri, a rice ball made with organic brown rice with a variety of fillings (no MSG or GMO—only organic, local produce). The small space is clean and modern with a few tables to eat-in—the exact style you’d expect from a “fast-casual” Japanese restaurant.
Once you’ve had your fill of goodness, head over to Building on Bond, voted “The Best Neighborhood Hangout in Boerum Hill”. On a picturesque tree-lined street in one of the best parts of Brooklyn, you’ll find yourself nestled into a booth or out on the sidewalk. Sip on a selection of hand-crafted cocktails, or beer and wine and just try to not imagine yourself buying a brownstone and moving right on in. If you're not ready to go home, Robert Bar next door is owned by the same folks.
