Sing Your Hearts Out Together At This 'Upgraded Karaoke' Piano Bar

Bam! It’s a night for a little throwback and some old school glitz and glam in Chelsea starting off with dinner at Rodos. This Greek meets Cajun restaurant is a new spot by the famous 90s TV celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse. Located in Hotel Henri, this is Lagasse's first venture in New York City and is all about seafood influenced by both the Gulf and the Mediterranean. You can enjoy octopus beignets and Louisiana crawfish stuffed clams alongside avgolemono (traditional Greek chicken lemon soup) and grilled branzino. We recommend trying their take on baklava—served in a cast iron skillet with shredded fillo on top.
After dinner, it’s time to warm up those vocal cords and step into the spotlight at Sid Gold’s Request Room. With some of the most affordably priced cocktails in the neighborhood, this upgraded karaoke spot is an instant favorite. When you enter, you’ll be transported to another era in this lounge-y piano bar where guests in the crowd take their turn on the mic. You never know who might show up—Tina Fey, Paul Simon, and Bill Murray have all made appearances. So grab a martini, gather around the Baldwin piano, and get ready to sing the night away.
