This Place Has Insane Christmas Lights Up 6 Months Out Of The Year
You haven't done the holidays in New York until you've gone to Rolf's. This place is extra. A German restaurant and bar famous for its over-the-top Christmas decorations six months out of the year, Rolf's is covered in garland, fake icicles, strung-up lights and ornaments in every size and holiday hue. You may come here just to see the situation, but the food is standard and the beer is great. Only thing is, there will be a wait if you don't come early and on a random weeknight (like tonight).
Depending on when you finish up at Rolf's, catch one of the comedy shows tonight at New York Comedy Club. There are usually several shows a night (starting around 7 p.m.) that all feature up-and-comers and famous drop-ins. It's always a solid comedy experience. Plus, there's a bar up front where you can grab a drink pre- or post-show. Here's to hoping you cheers a comedian you love.
