This NYC Osteria Specializes In The Cuisine Where Italy, Switzerland, and France Meet
First up: a classic Italian dinner at San Carlo Osteria Piemonte in Soho, an authentic Piedmont restaurant (Piedmont is a region of Italy that borders France and Switzerland and sits at the foot of the Alps) born from the passion of six Italian friends. We love the backstory, but we love the pasta even more. From the Tajarin alle vongole (the thin, rich pasta of Piemonte with clams, tomato confit, and lemon) to the spaghetti alla chitarra aglio nero (homemade spaghetti with black garlic and spicy breadcrumbs) — we truly want to lick our plates clean everytime we're here.
After a food coma, there is truly nothing better than sitting back and watching a movie. That's why we're heading to the Film Forum. Check out their full lineup of films here. Fresh off a $5 million full renovation, this neighborhood cinema is sure to have something on that you'll enjoy.
