Make Your Way to San Matteo on the UES for Old School, Neapolitan Pizza

We like pizza in all iterations and incarnations: folded in half at 2 in the morning, in bagel bite form when watching the game, and, of course, whole pies in all their resplendent glory for date night. Tonight, make your way to San Matteo on the UES for old school, Neapolitan pizzas. Opened by two Italian cousins and industry vets, San Matteo serves up wood-fired, aromatic goodness topped with Prosciutto and Buffalo mozzarella, burrata and pancetta, and truffle with mushroom, just to name a few. For another variation on pizza, try the panuozzo pizza-dough sandwich, a San Matteo specialty.

Just because you’re full of pizza doesn’t mean you have to call it a night. Stop in to Alice’s Tea Cup for tea or something stronger (pssst: their liquor cabinet is fully stocked). For a proper tea service, try the Tea and Scones with a pot of tea, two scones, raspberry preserves, and clotted cream. Pinkies up if you’re feeling fancy!
