Sans x Zombie Hut
Bad news! This plan has expired. Go check out some great new ideas here.
Tonight is all about staying fresh (be it with food or vibes), and it starts at Sans. This new addition to the neighborhood is all vegan/all day, and it’s a breath of fresh air. With minimalistic rustic-mod decor, Sans brings a unique twist to vegan fare, with dishes like their TV Dinner (which legit looks like a fancy TV dinner, served in mini cast iron skillets) and Tarte Flambe. This is a great place to set a refreshing tone for the evening, without sacrificing flavor or ambiance.
Next, head down the street to Zombie Hut for a decidedly more expressive atmosphere. Pacific Island vibes are strong with this bar, from their massive collection of tiki masks to the all-bamboo walls. Whether you kick back by the backroom fireplace or outside in the garden patio (pending weather), the transportive elements are turned to 11. And, whether you go for something as classic as a Scorpion Bowl (aka “the kitchen sink of Tiki drinks”) or as bold as the Suffering Bastard (“a lot of rum and more rum”), this is the ideal spot to shake off any pretentiousness from the outside world.
