SHAME with Liv Ullmann Q&A x Charlie Bird
Bad news! This plan has expired. Go check out some great new ideas here.
The Film Forum is presenting a showing of Shame, director Ingmar Bergman's cinematic marriage of love and war. Once the credits roll, star Liv Ullman will answer questions from the audience — which is a dream event for any film-loving lovebirds out there. The showing starts at 6:15 p.m., immediately followed by the Q&A, and tickets are $15.
Afterwards, walk over in a starstruck daze to Charlie Bird for some dinner. With a menu as sharp and chic as their decor, the folks behind Charlie Bird pride themselves on existing outside of the norm, offering up dishes like honey lacquered duck and crispy suckling pig shoulder. On their website, they use a Beastie Boys quote to sum up their place in NYC culture, and we dig it. It reads, "Only in a city as electric as this could we bring you a place as eclectic as this." #Motto.
