Shun x Upstairs at the Kimberly
Bad news! This plan has expired. Go check out some great new ideas here.
Shun is an elegant new French restaurant located just above Le Jardinier, its sister restaurant. Pronounced Shoon, it’s named for the Japanese philosophy that every food should be eaten only in its proper season, at the peak of its flavor. You can choose between a three or four course prix fixe option, or splurge on the “path of nature” chef’s tasting for a cool $225. Dining here will be pricey, but the fresh ingredients and quiet atmosphere makes this the perfect place to enjoy a memorable meal and conversation with your SO.
After dinner, head to Upstairs at The Kimberly Hotel for drinks and rooftop views. Sitting 30 stories high, you can enjoy the summer nighttime weather as you take in an unbeatable view of the Chrysler building. Add in a few cocktails with names like “The Mistress,” “Midtown,” and “Rum Service,” and we can guarantee you’ll want to stay here for a while.
