Singlet at Bushwick Starr x Sushi & Noodles
Bad news! This plan has expired. Go check out some great new ideas here.
You know that idk tonight loves its girl bosses, and we love finding new ways to celebrate female empowerment. In SINGLET, playwright and actor Erin Markey draws inspiration from Esther Perel, Elena Ferrante, and Jean Genet to tell a story of female friendship, intimacy, and desire. “The stakes of the body in a relationship is what I’m interested in,” Markey says of her newest production, and you’ll watch Markey and Emily Davis grapple and examine economies of power between friends, families, and wrestlers in this electrifying new play.
Post show, grab a quick dinner at Sushi & Noodles. A gem of a spot with a warm and friendly ambiance, you’ll have your pick of sushi, ramen, and pho, all of which are portioned generously. We like the shrimp tempura and spicy scallop here.
