Summer on the Hudson: Yoga Flow x Salumeria Rosi
Bad news! This plan has expired. Go check out some great new ideas here.
If you’re interested in escaping the New York City bustle, head over to Riverside Park South for some group yoga at Yoga Flow. Part of “Summer on the Hudson” organization, this free activity is meant to help you “cultivate strength, flexibility, balance, and focus” with the added benefit of having your S.O. right by your side. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, you’re going to love the positive vibes and peaceful atmosphere, and you’ll no-doubt appreciate how calm you’re going to feel once all is said and done. Running from 6:30 - 7:30 pm, be sure to give yourselves time to get settled in. This event runs every Thursday until October.
If you’re in the mood for Italian, you’ve come to the right place. Specializing in cured meats (it helps that this restaurant also doubles as a salumi shop), Salumeria Rosi is an adorable, Tuscan-inspired trattoria that offsets the romantic candlelit atmosphere with a line of salted, on-the-bone meat draping across the entire bar. The highlights here include the Green Pappardelle (with homemade spinach pappardelle, oven dried tomatoes, basil, and black pepper mascarpone cheese), Pancia (slow-cooked pork belly rubbed with tuscan spices, with tuscan chickpeas, greens, and crispy skins), and Thursday’s special, Cacio e Pepe (with fresh tonnarelli, cacio cheese, parmigiano reggiano, and black pepper). This place is life goals.
