Cozy Ramen & Gaelic Whiskey In Williamsburg
Bad news! This plan has expired. Go check out some great new ideas here.
Start this evening with a trip to Suzume, a cozy and beautifully-decorated ramen spot that serves delicious food alongside beer-and-a-shot combos. The menu here features only a few dishes, but each is carefully crafted to provide an excellent and satisfying meal. We even included it in our favorite ramen round-up.
Post-meal, head over to Noorman's Kil, a bar that doesn't get any more classic New York. The bar’s name is derived from a creek that once flowed through Brooklyn, and also refers to the importance of water in the distillation of whiskey, which when translated from the Gaelic term usquebaugh, means “water of life.” They have over 400 whiskeys to try (and the bartenders are great about helping you navigate), but our favorite part about this bar is their gourmet grilled cheese menu. Though their large, garden backyard probably comes in a close second.
