Feed Your Soul and Your Stomach with Tarot Cards and Ramen
Bad news! This plan has expired. Go check out some great new ideas here.
In this Tarot for Beginners class, presented by Tarot Society Gallery and Reading Room, you’ll learn a brief history of modern tarot, get an overview of the cards, and learn how to read a three-card spread. It’s a perfect way to spend an evening with your person learning a little bit of history while opening yourselves up to messages and insights from the deck. Check out when Tarot Society is hosting their next class at their Facebook page, here. Tarot Society also offers readings, so be sure to schedule one if you’re interested in learning what life has in store for the two of you.
After you’ve gotten your intro lesson, discuss what you’ve learned over ramen at Chuko in Bushwick. This spin-off of the beloved Prospect Heights restaurant doesn’t serve alcohol, so be prepared to switch the sake for soda tonight. Meaning “vintage” in Japanese, Chuko represents an homage to traditional, best-in-class flavors. Split some appetizers (try the wings or gyoza), then dig into the ramen. Our ~prediction~ is that you and your person will love it.
