The Brooklyn Comedy Festival x Berg'n
Bad news! This plan has expired. Go check out some great new ideas here.
The Brooklyn Comedy Festival is the premiere alternative festival for funny folks and it takes place all across the borough from September 17th-20th. There are several shows we're excited to see, but none sound cooler for date night than an indie show called "Nothing Important" at Friends & Lovers in Crown Heights. Not only do they have really great comics (Khalid Rahman from Conan, Myq Kaplan from Netflix, Liza Treyger from Comedy Central and Kerry Coddett from HBO), but each show is followed immediately by a dance party, so couples can laugh, dance and be jolly. The show is at 8 p.m. tonight, but also runs regularly on the 4th Friday of every month at the same time and place.
After you laugh, dance, drink and whatever else, head to Berg'n right around the corner for a Smorgasburg-style eating experience, featuring food from Mighty Quinn's BBQ, Landhaus, and Gertie. If you leave the comedy show in time, you may even make it for Game Night.
