The Dead, 1904 at the American Irish Historical Society x Flex Mussels
Bad news! This plan has expired. Go check out some great new ideas here.
Last year’s sold-out show at The American Irish Historical Society returns for another installment of this widely-lauded immersive theater experience for only 50 performances. Inspired by Irish author James Joyce’s novella “The Dead,” the jovial-yet-bittersweet holiday play requires audience participation throughout the space as actors move around them at all times (think “Sleep No More"). Plus, when else will you get to personally interact with Little House on the Prairie's Melissa Gilbert?
Next, stop by Flex Mussels, a seafood & dessert spot that serves up the best Prince Edward Island Mussels. They cook all of their seafood in 23 different (and amazing) sauces — we like the Bangkok sauce with jalapeño, cilantro, ginger, scallions, coconut milk. But dessert is probably our favorite part here. Specifically the eclectic donuts with flavors ranging from fresh blueberry and salted caramel to absinthe chocolate and tequila cherry sriracha.
