The East Pole x The Let Go at The Armory
Bad news! This plan has expired. Go check out some great new ideas here.
We’re not saying the UES is the next hot food destination, but times are slowly a-changing, and The East Pole is proof that the downtown vibe can survive and thrive uptown too. The owners of The Fat Radish, Pizza Beach, and Brinkley’s have come together to inject a bit of youth and New American cuisine into the East 60s, and the result is simple, seasonal, and delicious. We love the fluke crudo and burrata to start.
Stroll over to the Park Avenue Armory after dinner to view Nick Cave’s installation and performance mashup, The Let Go. You’re invited to dance, move, work out your frustrations, and revel in your independence alongside a cast of dancers that perform choreography by Cave and Francesca Harper as 100-f00t long mylar sculptures glide across the dance floor. Get a taste of how good it feels to let it all go, and join in on the celebration of your newfound selfhood here.
