How do YOU plan dinner with friends?
Take our quick, 3-minute survey.THE GRILL x Bill’s Townhouse
Bad news! This plan has expired. Go check out some great new ideas here.
First, start the night off at THE GRILL. This Midtown restaurant epitomizes classy New York City dining, with a massive, open concept design that balances mid-century and modern influence with tuxedoed bartenders, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a complex ceiling sculpture designed by Richard Lippold (he’s all about complex geometric shapes). This is where you go when you want to give date night a ritzy kick.
Next, stroll over to Bill’s Townhouse for some craft cocktails in a timelessly vintage space taking inspiration from classic 19th-century American design. This entire restaurant and bar feels like an expensive slice of history, with gold-and-crystal chandeliers, gilded picture frames (of which there are many), and tufted leather furniture. The level of opulent detail on display at Bill’s deserves a round of applause (which might be difficult when you’re sipping on one of their equally applaudable craft cocktails, like one of two sparkling rosé-based options: The Stapleton or Bill’s Punch).
