Do Dinner At Books-Inspired Restaurant, The Writing Room Before A Nightcap At The Auction House

First, enjoy some New American fare at The Writing Room, a restaurant literally littered with books (but, like, neatly). With serious library vibes (from the stacked bookshelves to the black tufted leather booths) satisfying your literary appetite and a hearty menu to satisfy your edible appetite (from dayboat scallops to Berkshire pork chops), The Writing Room is as classy as it is refreshing. Just be sure to keep an eye out for framed photography throughout inspired by literary icons. On account of this not being on enough menus anywhere, top off dinner with their vanilla cupcake for dessert.

Next, head to The Auction House for your marble and mahogany fix. With upscale auction-quality decor (see: brick walls dressed in gilded frames, red velvet drapes, crystal chandeliers), as well as an intimate and moody candlelit atmosphere, we dare you to not be impressed. Just be sure to keep with the vintage ritzy vibe when it comes to your cocktail selection and order the Ruby Slipper. It may as well be a necessity.
