Upland x When Worlds Collide
Bad news! This plan has expired. Go check out some great new ideas here.
First, kick things off at Upland, a chic-casual eatery just a block from Madison Square Park. Whether you’re in the mood for some beef tartare (with black trumpet mushroom, puffed farro, anchovy, and egg yolk), flaxseed crusted cod (with cracked wheat risotto, mushroom conserva, and smoked cabbage), or Flying Pigs Farm porchetta (with heirloom beans, roasted tomatoes, and bok choy), you and yours are in good hands. Right away, you’ll dig the cozy, earth-tone layout that pairs a simple white backdrop with natural wood and forest green accents. And with the glossy shiplap walls, industrial pipe shelving behind the bar, and pleated green leather booths, you’ll quickly understand why they refer to themselves as “dynamic, yet intimate.”
After dinner, head over to When Worlds Collide, an immersive concert experience that aims to bridge the gap between various genres and audiences—think rock, pop, electronic, and rap performances, all in one night. The concert will also specifically showcase talent from emerging female/LGBTQ/POC musicians and multimedia artists, including funk performer Bianca Muñiz, trans rapper Quay Dash, and interactive artist Soleil. We're pumped. Doors open at 8 p.m.
