Vini e Fritti is a Roman-style aperitivi bar located inside the Redbury Hotel in NoMad. They’re all about pairing bubbly with salty, crispy small plates. We think it makes for the perfect spontaneous, post-work rendezvous. Go the healthy route and split three or four antipastos. We love the baby artichokes, potato pancakes with horseradish cream, and the pork ribs with calabrian chili honey. Glasses of champagne range from $13 to $29 — ask the bartender for their recommendation based on your food order.
Around the corner lives Azya Wine & Chocolate Bar, a French-Med spot to cap your night off with something sweet. Order a few pieces of Chocolate by Cioccolada, which is somehow organic, raw, dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free, and kosher — $3/piece. Another option being the menage a trois by Jacques Torres, a dark chocolate twist of three flavors with a touch of gold. Or you can always go with one of their famous desserts, like the chocolate earthquake cake with hot cream and hazelnut crumble. Heaven.
