Visit The Flagship Location Of This Beloved Cheese Shop (And It's Full-Service Bar!)
Beer and cheese are a match made in heaven, so why not make the pairing into a date theme? First, head to LIC Beer Project in Long Island City, and post up in their taproom, where you’ll be able to sample a number of farmhouse saisons, porters, sours, and IPAs, all brewed on premises.
Then, head to Murray’s Cheese Bar in Long Island City, their flagship location with a first-ever full-service bar and an adjacent cheese shop offering more than 400 specialty items. The borough is home to Murray’s cheese aging caves, and the design is inspired by the many colors and materials used for cheese aging and cheesemaking. The seasonally-inspired menu at Murray’s Cheese Bar features a bento-box style cheese board along with dishes for takeout, delivery, and to eat at several outdoor tables.
