It's Christmas time in the city ♫ 🎄

01

Rolf's German Restaurant

281 3rd Ave (at E 22nd St), New York, NY 10010

01

Rolf's IS Christmas in New York. Period. Locals and tourists alike flock to this holiday destination to get their super-dose of all things merry. With cozy drinks like Hot Toddy's and Mulled Wine set in a scene that feels like you might be trapped inside a well-lit Christmas tree (but like, in a good way), we can't imagine a spot more perfect to scratch your holiday itch.

02

Lillie's Victorian Establishment

13 E 17th St, New York, NY 10003

Lillie's Victorian Establishment

Though Lillie's Victorian Establishment may look a little hoity-toity, with its gilded mirrors, portraits, and marble bar, this Victorian-style watering hole is surprisingly inviting. They offer an eclectic but traditional menu and an impressive range of beers, whiskeys, scotches, and wines. Check it out during Christmas time -- for decor they call, 'Laughter and Mirth.'

03

Ophelia

3 Mitchell Pl (Top of Beekman Tower), New York, NY 10017

Ophelia

Skyline views under the stars, extravagant cocktails that will run you as much as your dinner entrees, and intimate conversations surrounded by elegant, ultra-modern decor. Our hearts say yes, our wallets say... It doesn't matter what our wallets say. Order the classic caviar service ($195/oz), which includes imperial Osetra, one of the most prized and expensive types of caviar in the world.

04

Gramercy Tavern

42 E 20th St (btwn Broadway & Park Ave), New York, NY 10003

04

Michelin-starred, elevated rustic fare fired in an open, wood-burning grill is served to its patrons via white-glove service at the infamous Gramercy Tavern. This quintessential special occasion spot, from Danny Meyer, features an ever-evolving, seasonal menu that showcases the restaurant's relationships with local farms and purveyors. Don’t worry: the iconic “Tavern Burger” is a fixed staple.

05

Tavern on the Green

1 Tavern on the Green, W 67th St (at West Dr), New York, NY 10023

Tavern on the Green

Near the Lincoln Square entrance of Central Park, enjoy one of the city's most classic dining experience that is Tavern on the Green. With classic fare like steaks, burgers, and finely chopped salads, you can plan a day in the park around this feast. It's perfect for special occasions or an impromptu celebration.

06

Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden

Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden

SERRA by Birreria

200 5th Ave (at W 23rd St), New York, NY 10010

If Eataly is a metropolitan Italian escape, its rooftop is the countryside. Luscious green vines and wicker chandeliers abound in this year-round outdoor oasis. Both the restaurant's menu and decor change with the seasons, but the one thing you can always count on is quality.

10

Pete's Tavern

129 E 18th St (at Irving Pl), New York, NY 10003

10

Since 1864, this tavern has been a spot for locals (and visitors) to grab a libation and unwind. Even during Prohibition, Pete's operated as a florist shop in the front, but was a speakeasy-- one which politicians frequented for important meetings. Their outdoor cafe was one of the first al-fresco dining options in the city, and yet despite all this rich history, an evening at Pete's feels absolutely homey and casual.
