In case you haven’t noticed, we’re pretty obsessed with love over here. There’s nothing like a good love story to make you feel like the world is ultimately a place where love wins. That’s why today we are highlighting some beautiful black love stories that simultaneously inspire and delight. Because Black love should always be celebrated and cherished.

Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee were married for 57 years prior to his passing in 2005. Not only were they screen and stage actors who often appeared in the same projects, but they were also major figures in the Civil Rights Movement.
